Inquisitor Eisenhorn is one on the most senior members of the Imperial Inquisition. I didn't have time to read the whole thing, so here, with apologies to Dan , is a review of the first Riders of the Dead was from the fantasy universe, but Eisenhorn is from the Warhammer 40,000 setting. The Inquisitor Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett has proven to be one of the most popular series of books within the 40K line of the Black Library publication, and February 25th sees, for the first time, the individual release of the short story Missing in Action. I have to say overall that I liked the I actually enjoy omnibuses, at least of Warhammer 40k books, because they're usually about $15 and contain three or four books which individually would cost $24-32 (Averaging about $8 a book) and it takes up less shelf space than the individual books. I'm reading this and it's amazing. 2 Omnibus); 14.) Boba Fett: Death, Lies, & Treachery (Boba Fett Omnibus); 13.) Shadows of the Empire; 12.) The Devaronian Version (Quinlan Vos Omnibus); 11.) The Ahakista Gambit (At War With The Empire, Vol. The Eisenhorn omnibus — comprised of the trilogy Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus, and a couple of short stories — chronicles Eisenhorn's transformation from devout (though not quite orthodox) Inquisitor to someone who is a lot more sympathetic to the ways of Chaos. In the meantime I have been getting to see what Abnett has done with his own Inquisitor, Gregor Eisenhorn. While previously only available as part of the Eisenhorn Omnibus, this short story will soon be released as an e-publication, alongside another Eisenhorn story Backcloth for a Crown Additional. Your Price: $7.45- Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus). Being overall satisfied with Dan's writings I decided to pick up the Eisenhorn omnibus a while ago and finally sat down and got to reading it. If any of you ever have the chance, check it out. It's set in the Warhammer 40k universe, and is centered around the title character, who is an Imperial Inquisitor. I finished the Eisenhorn Omnibus a few weeks ago and right now I couldn't be more hot for Warhammer 40K. This trilogy is often tagged as one of the absolute best Warhammer 40k series, but will it live up to the hype? This is my second year reading Black Library novels and I consider myself still very inexperienced in the 40k lore. Xenos' story is a wild journey Gregor Eisenhorn is a great addition to the Warhammer setting. It wasn't until I got back to California that I realized Marc had recommended a three-volume series, albeit one sent to me as an omnibus edition. I would not recommend this Ominbus as an introduction to the Universe of 40k however, unless the idea of the Inquisition is especially appealing to the reader. The things that make It's a rich universe – Eisenhorn taps into the bountiful, well-thought-out world of Warhammer 40K gaming that has developed over more than two decades.
